Eating well in the eyes of Dr. McCall means eating protein and vegetables. He has broken out what he feels is a great eating well “diet” that you can use as a reference. The link to review the Eating Well sheet is below.

You can look at nutrition with the eyes of our ancestors that had generations of information on how, when, and what to eat to allow humans to survive and thrive in nature. They let nature directly teach them and show them through their children and talked of generations how the food we eat makes us better suited for survival.

You can look at our anthropological record and see the rise of misaligned teeth and greater frequency of arthritis when we made the turn into farming and grain cultivation. Our bodies were changing in their development as we changed our food acquisition. Nutrition and Physical Degeneration. by Westin A Price can show this to you.

However, it is good to start the study of nutrition for any reason and to ponder the fact that what we know of nutrients is from mother earth. The best source of our foods are made by living cells. All of our nutrients comes from food and can come from plants, animals and fruits. As she and her soil is healthy, so are the plants. All the vitamins and minerals our ancestors had was through the food they ate. They survived wars, famine, plagues, droughts, bitter cold and searing heat with only the high technology of their own bodies. We are not made to fall apart as we age or to have chronic problems. We have bodies that will make the necessary changes when the wholesome foods are in our diet. Your health is not in the written and marketed promise/possibility but through knowing the nature of your food.

The reason why I take the time to write over and over about eating/nutrition/etc. is because I see how diet affects my patients and myself. We are living in bodies that were “stress tested” on earth 1,000 of times longer than the span of time from the industrial revolution until now. We believe that chronic pains, symptoms and conditions/syndromes as a natural occurrence of being human instead of the natural occurrence of our bodies trying to adapt to manufactured foods, environments, and thoughts.

A healthy body has no symptoms and can do anything. It is a simple concept which is easy to find exceptions. In order for our bodies to be healthy it would require food that we can easily digest, absorb and excrete without any aid, symptoms or complications. It would require the best forms, shapes, charges and information within what we eat in order to optimize the cells to live. Since the early 1900’s we have been able to isolate variable chemical compounds such as vitamins, enzymes and bioflavonoids through laboratory processes which to this day are considered the building blocks of nutrition. It is the currency of nutritional language and considered the absolute truth. However, since knowing this for over 100 years we are succumbing to degeneration never seen before in frequencies that are vast. The living cell is the master of all sciences and all technologies. I have yet to see anyone make food with soil, water and sunlight that can feed a planet. So, my dear friends, eat living foods that are made by cells and not taken to a factory and put in packages with labels, promises and pretty colors. If you achieve that, you will see a major difference in your body and your own health!
